M E Productions in association with Main Event Management has arranged that Rodriguez will be performing in Cape Town at the Bellville Velodrome on March 6 and 7. A legend and cultural icon for university students of the past 20 years, Rodriguez is sure to attract thousands of fans who want to see him perform such great hits as Sugar Man, I Wonder, Rich Folks Hoax, and Inner City Blues. Touring with Rodriguez, whom many thought was dead, will be one of South Africa's most popular rock acts Big Sky. Led by singer songwriter Steve Louw, Big Sky has continued to win audiences for over a decade. The band won the Best Rock Act award at the 1996 FNB South African Music Awards with their second album Horizon. The band's current single is Wasted off their recently released album Going Down with Mr Green.
